Year 2020 is an unprecedented year. Covid has turned our world upside down. It has posed tremendous challenges in all walks of life, and dentistry is no exception. Since the onset of the pandemic in March, we have installed air purifiers according to engineers' recommendation. We have enclosed our operatories to allow deeper sanitization after each patient. All counter surfaces including switches and handles are sanitized after each patient. All staff and patients are screened prior to the entry of the office and any person with signs and symptoms will be advised to have a Covid test and a negative result is required before returning to the office. We also limit the number of people in the office and the appointments are spaced out so that we can distance patients from different households and allow adequate time for our staff to conduct sterilization of instruments and disinfection of surfaces. Full PPE are worn by our staff, and everyone who enter the office is required to wear a mask and sanitize their hands. Extra effort has been put in addressing patients' concern and dental emergencies through after hours phone calls and emails. For those patients who are not comfortable seeking dental care physically, we strongly advise them to contact us by phone or email and not delay their dental issues during this difficult period. Many dental problems can escalate to more extensive damages if not being attended to promptly. We are here to answer your questions and concern. We are in it together and together we will beat this.
